SiarScéal is a voluntary group supported entirely by public subscriptions and government funding. Like many arts and cultural organisations in recent years, we have had to adapt to new economic realities. Yet we keep going and the Festival is now heading into its seventh year. We remain committed to continuing to provide a useful and valuable resource for many years to come; celebrating the lives and history the people of Roscommon, while also serving the artistic and literary community as well as the wider public.
